NARROWS - Maggie Whitlow Turner, age 68, of Rt. 2, Narrows, formerly of Kellysville, died Sunday evening at a Princeton, W.Va. hospital. Born in Kellysville, she was the daughter of the late Alonzo (Lon) and Hattie Whitlow. She had been a resident of Mercer and Giles County all her life. She was a member of the Kellysville Church of God. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Turner in 1986 and two brothers, James Whitlow and Alonzo Whitlow. Survivors include two daughters, Ruby Turner, Narrows; Theresa Turner, Radford; sons, Curtis Turner, Jonesboro, Tenn.; Calvin Turner, Narrows; Terry Turner, Vinton; sisters, Mrs. Frances Stewart, Kingsport, Tenn; Mrs. Faye Smith and Mrs. Lola Gills, both of Dundee, Fla.; Mrs. Parthelia Hodge, Blacksburg, Va.; Mrs. Brownie Sinclair, Clinton, N.C.; Mrs. Doris Clemons, Princeton, W.Va.; brothers, R.C. Whitlow, Fla.; John Whitlow, Rich Creek, Va.; eight grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday afternoon at Davis Funeral Chapel at Oakvale with the Rev. Anthony Carter officiating. Burial will be in Oakvale Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. today.
