Oma C. Rock, age 82, died Monday, in a Salem hospital. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church, Salem, and was the widow of the late Oscar Tolbert Rock. She is survived by two sons, Lewis Rock (wife Lois), Salem; Don Rock, New Castle; six daughters, Mildred Via, Norfolk; Mary Maxey (husband Albert), Salem; Jean Crockett (husband Jimmy), Salem; Freda Via, Salem; Barbara Francisco (husband Clifton), New Castle; Linda Hylton Mollette (husband David), Elliston; one brother, Audra Cochran, Monongah, W.Va.; four sisters, Mrs. Roy (Mildred) Myers, Fairmont, W.Va,; Mrs. Bradford (Reda) Roberts, Akron, Ohio; Mrs. Lawrence (Norene) Riffle, Leesburg; Mrs. Irene Summers, Fairmont, W.Va.; 17 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at Boitnott Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday with interment in Crossroads Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
