WELCH, LEUNETTA E.\ Mrs. Robert Welch, Sr., age 84, died Sunday, in a Salem hospital. She is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Harry Welch, Sr., Robert (Bobby) and Rosie Welch, all of New Castle; three daughters and sons-in-law, Phyllis and H. R. (Bob) Kendall, New Castle; Barbara and Melvin Ellington, Richmond; Opal and Audney Horn, New Castle; one brother, Julian P. Elmore, New Castle; one sister, Altha Price, Richmond; two sisters-in-law, Roxie Poole, Durham, N.C.; Margaret Elmore, New Castle; 19 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Boitnott Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Steve Putney officiating. Interment in Crawford Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
