BUCHANAN - Elsie Ora Thomas, age 86, died Monday in a Roanoke nursing home. Surviving are one sister, Blanche Thomas, Buchanan; two brothers, Alvis H. Thomas, Roanoke; Maxey C. Thomas, Buchanan; several nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral services will be Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. at Restvale Cemetery, Copper Hill, with Elder Hale Terry officiating. Arrangements by Wood Funeral Home, Floyd, where friends may call.
