McNabb's first error helped Peninsula take a 2-0 lead in the fourth inning.
Damon Saetre started the rally with a double to right-center field and took third on Lash Bailey's grounder to first. After Jimmy Campanis was hit by a Butch Schlopy pitch, Lem Pilkinton's single scored Saetre and sent Campanis to third. On the hit, Pilkinton took a wide turn at first and was caught in a rundown.
