OBIT ELMORE, L.

ELMORE, LULA L. Lula Lindsey Elmore, age 65, died Monday, April 23, 1990, in Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Elmore was an employee of Klopman Mills. She was born in Giles County on August 20, 1924, and was the daughter of the late Luther and Lizzy Riddle Lindsey. She was preceded in death by two sons, Melvin L. Fisher and Sherman B. Fisher. She is survived by her husband, Lee Elmore, Pulaski; one daughter, Sharon Holdren, Narrows; one stepson, Mark Vincent Elmore, Norfolk; eight grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 26, 1990, in the Givens Funeral Chapel, Pearisburg, with the Rev. Shahn Wilburn officiating, with burial in Birchlawn Burial Park. The family will receive friends at the Givens Funeral Home, Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
