OBIT HARRIS, H.

HARRIS, HENRY C. Mr. Henry C. Harris, age 83, died at Johnston Memorial Hospital April 24, 1990. He was a retired Olin Corporation employee. He is survived by his wife, Marvella H. Harris; two sons, James W. Harris of Gate City, Va.; James Albert Harris of New Castle, Del.; five daughters, Mrs. Jesse (Mary) Cornelia White, Marion.; Mrs. Marvin D. (Elizabeth) Heath, Chilhowie.; Mrs. Billy (Hattie) Thompson, Gallapin, Tn.; Mrs. George (Roberta) Lee, Saltville; Mrs. Eugene (Ruby) French, Tannersville; eleven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Henderson Funeral Home with the Rev. Ralph Robinette and Rev. Harold Puckett officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Rose Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 at Henderson Funeral Home.
