KEYDETS' WILLIAMSES HONORED

Damon and Ramon Williams were presented the Roger E. Towne Award as the outstanding seniors in VMI basketball at the team's 16th annual banquet last weekend.

Other award winners were Percy Covington, who received the Giles H. Miller Jr. Award as the outstanding sophomore; senior Mark Craft, given the Robert L. Watson Award as the leading rebounder; and senior Lennon Mings, voted the best defensive player.

Coach Joe Cantafio announced that Covington and Greg Fittz, who will be a senior, have been chosen co-captains for 1990-91. - Staff report
