WHITE IMPRESSIVE AS COUNCIL CANDIDATE

OVER THE PAST several months, I have had the pleasure of getting to know Bill White, who's running for Roanoke City Council. Bill has impressed me with his sense of the community, his clear thinking and his concern for his fellow man. He has demonstrated all the qualities our community looks for in a city councilman: education, intelligence, clearness of thinking, and the ability to make up his own mind based on his best judgment.

White is a professional and family man, a man from the mainstream of the community. He has shown he is an independent thinker, but I know he understands that teamwork is essential in order to get things accomplished.

I urge my friends to vote for the team of Bill White, Howard Musser and Jimmy Harvey for City Council on May 1. DAN L. FREI ROANOKE
