OBIT BLEVINS, C.

Clarence Otis Blevins, age 72, of Vinton, died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was a member, deacon, and Sunday School teacher at Waverly Place Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Dorothy Ashwell Blevins; three brothers, Ward Blevins, Cedar Bluff, Va.; Dallas Blevins, Marion; Neal Blevins, Ashboro, N.C.; a sister, Mabel Goble, Marion; an aunt, Bessie Taylor, Roanoke; a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted from Waverly Place Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 27, 1990 with Rev. Charles Hoffler and Rev. Joe Burnside officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at Oakey's Vinton Chapel.
