\ Mr. Frank Tyler Akers, age 60, died Monday, April 23, 1990 in Richmond. He was a native of Riner and the son of the late Charles and Lorraine Howard Akers. He taught in Richmond City Schools for many years and recently was an employee at the Science Museum of Virginia in Richmond. He is survived by three daughters, Sarah Hana, Texas; Mary Guyton, Ken.; Helen Axelrod, N.Y. City, N.Y.; one son, Frank Tyler Akers, Jr., U.S. Navy, Monterey, Calif.; two grandchildren; three brothers; and six sisters. A memorial service will be held at the family cemetery in Riner, Friday, April 27, 1990 at 5:00 p.m.
