\ RICHMOND - Billy Robert Baker, age 71, died Thursday, April 26, 1990 in Richmond. He was a son of the late Eugene Jackson Baker and Lessie Welch Baker. Surviving is his wife, Mrs. Anne E. Baker; two daughters, Billie Anne Baker, Richmond; Barbara Jean Baker, Hillsboro, NC; brother, Frederick E. Baker, Clinton, Tenn.; three nephews, Frederick, Michael and Robert Baker, all of Tenn. Mr. Baker was an employee of the Commonwealth of Virginia in various capacities and served as a Captain in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a graduate of Emory and Henry College. The family will receive friends at the home of Mrs. Baker, Saturday, 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Saturday at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 Parham Road. Interment private. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to Emory and Henry College, Emory, Va., 24327.
