\ FLOYD - Harold Thomas Mitchell, 77, died Friday in a Radford hospital. Surviving are his wife, Larmie Spence Mitchell, Floyd; one son, William T. Mitchell of Breden, N. C.; three daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and L. T. Nolen of Floyd; Joyce and Doug Manson, Miami, Fla.; Joanne and James B. Estes of Riner; eleven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Louise Reed of Catawba; a half sister, Vera Parfitt, Roanoke; three stepsisters, Ethelyene Kanode, Eula Myers and Edith Dillard, all of Vinton; a stepbrother, Charlie Wade of Vinton. Funeral will be Sunday 2:00 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home with interment in the Thomas Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Saturday at Wood Funeral Home.
