WILL CAROLINAS LABOR BUILD OFFICE TOWER?

ONCE AGAIN the construction industry must suffer, all because our city fathers could not hear. If history repeats itself with the Carolina contractors, all or most of the labor force for the Dominion Tower project will come from the Carolinas or other areas.

Since we as taxpayers have $6.8 million invested in this project, we should have some voice in where the work force comes from, but our city fathers say we do not. This job is the hold that Carolina labor wants on our market. Other projects will follow and so will the city fathers, until our labor force marches to a different drummer. Get out to vote and voice your opinion May 1.
