\ Junius A. Tucker, age 90, formerly of Highland Avenue, has gone to be with the Lord. He was a member of and former Sunday School teacher at Belmont United Methodist Church for many years. Mr. Tucker was a former employee of Ford Motor Company and Chevrolet Company in Detroit and worked for the Cass Railroad (W.Va.) when it was being built. He lived with his wife's cousin and wife, Robert and Jeanie Martin of Roanoke, and is also survived by a sister, Montrose Vette, Staunton, and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Monday from Oakey's Roanoke Chapel with Dr. Paul Martin officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Burial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the Virginia Synod Lutheran Home. Friends may call at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel where the family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday.
