\ PEARISBURG - Earl Randolph Meadows, age 73, died at his home Saturday, April 28, 1990. Mr. Meadows was a retired employee of the Hoechst-Celanese Corporation. He was a member of the Giles Masonic Lodge No. 106 A.F. and A.M. He was a member of the Pearisburg First United Methodist Church. He was a former member of the Pearisburg Town Council and served on the Pearisburg Planning Commission for 32 years. He was born in Bland County, Va. October 1, 1916, and was a son of the late Albert T. and Laura Milliorns Meadows. He is survived by his wife, Georgia Williams Meadows of Pearisburg; two brothers, Kyle R. Meadows, Pulaski; Miller C. Meadows, Dublin; three sisters, Mrs. Ruby M. Davis, Lewistown, Pa.; Mrs. Audrey Nuckols, Pulaski; Mrs. Juanita Melton, Dublin. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2:00 p.m. in the Pearisburg First United Methodist Church with the Rev. John Wikle officiating. Interment will be in Birchlawn Burial Park with Masonic graveside services by Giles Masonic Lodge No. 106 A.F. And A.M. The family will receive friends at the Givens Funeral Home Sunday evening from 7:00 to 9:00.
