CALLOWAY BOWLS 300 AT ALL-STAR

Almost every Saturday afternoon for the past 20 years, the employee of General Electric has bowled in the company's GE Mixed League. This Saturday was different.

Calloway rolled his first 300 game at All-Star Lanes, and there never was much doubt about it.

"It was pretty solid," said Calloway, a left-hander with a sweeping hook who carries a 180 average. "It depends on the lanes, but I was in the groove."

Calloway said he started thinking about a perfect game after the sixth frame. "It hasn't really hit me yet," he added.

In 25 years of competitive bowling, Calloway's previous high game was 268.
