ROANOKER ATTACKED, STABBED THREE TIMES BY ANGERED WOMAN

A 22-year-old Roanoke woman was stabbed three times Sunday night while sitting in a car in front of her home in the 1700 block of Staunton Avenue Northwest.

Naomi K. Cooper told police she was sitting with a friend when a woman came up to the car around 10:30 p.m. and started a fight, stabbing Cooper twice in the back and once in the left arm.

Before the fight began the woman accused Cooper of taking out a warrant against her, police said.

Cooper, who was treated at Community Hospital for the three stab wounds, told police she will prosecute her attacker once the woman is found, police said.
