VOLUNTEER STUDENTS SOUGHT FOR MUSEUM

The Science Museum of Western Virginia is recruiting students in Grades 6 through 12 for its Summer Youth Volunteer Program. The program uses hands-on activities to enrich students' science education experiences.

Activities will include assisting with science workshops and serving as interpreters on the exhibit floors. Volunteers accepted into the program must attend a training session on June 2 and donate 75 hours in volunteer service.

Application deadline is May 17.
