Nellie Grey Mooney, age 80, died Monday evening in Lookout, W.Va. She was the daughter of the late Charlie Grey and Martha Thomas Carr and was preceded in death by her husband, T.T. Mooney. She was a member of the Clendennin Jesus Church at Narrows. Surviving are one son, Tillman Junior Mooney, Lookout, W.Va.; two daughters, Nellie Marie Slaughter, Lookout, W.Va.; Bertie Sue Lessman, Alexandria, Va.; three sisters, Texie Harmon, Bramwell, W.Va.; Annie Young, Dublin, Va.; Cuba Maxwell, Dublin, Va.; nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2:00 p.m. in the Clendennin Jesus Church with the Rev. Eddie Kendall officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin, Va. The family will receive friends at the Kendall Funeral Home, Pembroke, from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. Wednesday. The funeral home will be open for visitation anytime after 1:00 p.m. Wednesday.
