City Manager Robert Asbury presented Radford City Council with budget figures that will receive final approval next Monday.
The budget figures:

Water fund, $971,004
Waste water fund, $2,110,222
Equipment operation and maintenance, $393,515

Equipment replacement fund, $314,564
Revenue and spending totals for the 1990-91 fiscal year balanced at $27,701,157. This figure doesn't reflect school funds because the School Board did not submit figures before Monday's meeting.
Council decided to send a letter to the School Board stating that the figures are needed no later than noon Friday.
The School Board's totals will be reviewed at the Monday meeting.
City Council also decided to continue with Radford's current health-insurance program. Asbury said the Blue Cross-Blue Shield program is the best choice.
Council was presented with three additional health insurance options, but decided against any of them.
In other matters, council:
Had the final reading of ordinance No. 1191, which established the real estate tax at 70 cents per $100 value and personal property taxes at $1.40 per $100 value.
Had the final reading of ordinance No. 1193, which established a 2 percent hotel-motel room tax for people who stay at a licensed boarding house or private hotel.
