Lewis ended up with 377 votes while Frankie Swartz, the write-in contender, got 91.
In the race by five candidates for three available council seats, the winners were Michael Roberts with 502 votes, the most of anyone on the ballot; Garland Parks, the only incumbent seeking re-election, with 393; and Barry Loupe with 366.
The other contenders were newcomers Roger Allison, who got 126 votes, and Robert Cahill, 307.
