CHILHOWIE SLATE WINS

Mayor John D. Mason was unopposed for re-election here Tuesday, but Chilhowie citizens gave him 142 votes, more than anyone else on the ballot, anyway.

As with the mayor, the three incumbent Town Council members ran unopposed. William C. Bosewell Jr. got 86 votes, James T. Maxie had 114, and Laura Etta Wilkinson, 130.
