OBIT HUFFMAN, N.

Nancy Ellen Huffman, age 71, died Tuesday evening in a Beckley, W.Va. nursing facility. A native of Giles County, she is the daughter of the late Snow and Ocie Wood Meredith. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Carl Huffman. She is survived by two sons, Bobby Gene Huffman, Roger Dale Huffman, both of Hoges Chapel, Va.; a good friend, Lewellyn Martin, Hoges Chapel; five brothers, Robert Meredith, Hoges Chapel; Ed Meredith, Jacksonville, Va.; John Lewis Meredith, Newport; Cedric Meredith, Christiansburg; Jim Bill Meredith, Newport; three sisters, Gay Martin, Hoges Chapel; Gladys Rock, Geraldine Williams, both of Newport; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2:00 p.m. in the Williams-Jamison-Kendall Funeral Chapel, Pembroke with the Rev. Shahn Wilburn officiating. Burial will be in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. Thursday.
