Shirley Douglas Marion, age 55, died Tuesday in a Pulaski hospital. Surviving are her husband, George Marion, Jr., Radford; one daughter, Gail Crouse, Radford; two sons, Mike Marion and Garry Marion, both of Radford; her mother, Margie Nester, Dugspur; three sisters, Carolyn Rose, Peggy Martin, and Darlene Douglas, all of Galax; one brother, L.W. Douglas, Galax; five grandchildren, Susan Brumfield, Julie Williams, Jaimee Williams, Jeremy Marion, Greg Crouse. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday at the DeVilbiss Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Dale Wyrick officiating. Interment will follow in Sunrise Burial Park. The family will receive friends Thursday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the DeVilbiss Funeral Home.
