HORSE SHOW TO HELP WILLIS FIRE STATION

The 11th annual horse show to benefit Willis station No. 2, Floyd County Volunteer Fire Department, is May 13 at 1 p.m.

The show, a major fund raiser for the Willis station, is at the Earl Moles' Stables on Virginia 727 in the Buffalo Mountain section of the county. Admission is $2 per person; hot dogs, drinks and homemade desserts will be available.

Trophies and ribbons will be awarded in 25 classes. Cash and feed will be given in classes announced on the day of the show. A Memorial High Point Trophy will be awarded to the top competitor.

Entry fees range from $2-$5. In case of rain, the event will be held May 20. For information, call 789-7770.
