PEDESTRIAN ATTACKED, ROBBED BY 3 IN CAR

A Roanoke man told police he was attacked by three men early this morning and robbed of $210 as he walked down Salem Avenue.

Darin Edward Gauldin, 29, of the 7000 block of Goff Road was walking the 800 block of Salem Avenue about 4:50 a.m. when a car stopped, he told police.

Three men who got out of the car, beat Gauldin and took his wallet, police said. He was not seriously injured.

In an unrelated robbery Wednesday night, a woman told police that a teen-ager threatened her with a broken bottle before taking $62 from her as she walked near 6th Street and Fairfax Avenue.
