IN SCHOOL

NORTHWEST ELEMENTARY SCHOOL has been recognized as meeting the 1989 criteria as a Computer Learning Foundation Certified School, Level I. The Computer Learning Foundation School certification program was designed to encourage educators to discover new uses of computers and software in the classroom. To be recognized as a certified school, every teacher in the school learned three software programs they had never used before. Margaret Thompson is principal at Northwest.
