\ LEXINGTON - Richard Milton Powell, age 53, died Friday, May 4, 1990, at his residence. Born May 9, 1936, in Bedford County, he was the son of the late James Roy and Maggie Johnson Powell. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Delores Overby Powell. Surviving are one stepson, Billy Overby, Chesterfield, Va.; two sisters, Jane Purvis, Lexington; Eva Stucker, Poplar Bluff, Ms.; one brother, Douglas Powell, Salem, N.J. A graveside service will be conducted Sunday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. at the Glasgow Cemetery with the Rev. James Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday at the Harrison Funeral Home.
