Mary Jane Harvey Sanders, age 82, died Friday, May 4, 1990, in a Beckley Hospital. She is daughter of the late Wheeler H. and Rose Harvey. She was born February 18, 1908, in Hinton, W.Va. Mrs. Sanders was a homemaker and a member of the Maxwell Hill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Croba Sanders, on December 6, 1964. Survivors include, three sons, Rodney Sanders of Springfield, Mo.; Paul Sanders, Salem; Douglas Sanders, Beckley, W.Va.; five daughters, Mrs. Mamie Pizzino of Beckley, W.Va.; Mrs. Lee (Iris) Scott, Elko, Nev.; Mrs. Fred (Norma) Reynolds, Roanoke; Mrs. Ralph (Barbara) Saunders, Nashville, Tenn.; Mrs. Aubrey (Peggy) Acord, Virginia Beach; three brothers, Arnett Harvey of Peterstwon, W.Va.; Ted Harvey, Newport News; Harold (Buster) Harvey of Princeton, W.Va.; one sister, Madge Owens, Hampton; 20 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 7, 1990, at 11:00 a.m. in the Maxwell Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Clarence Griffith officiating. Burial will follow in the Palm Memorial Gardens, Matheny, W.Va. Friends may call at the Melton Mortuary in Beckley, W.Va., Sunday evening from 4:00 until 9:00 and at the church Monday one hour prior to services. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
