OBIT PERDUE, JOHN J.

John Jacob (Jake) Perdue, age 63, passed away Friday, May 4, 1990, in a Bedford hospital. He was born in Franklin County a son of Sparrell Perdue and Lula Robertson Perdue. He is survived by his wife, Thelma Martin Perdue; three sons, Jackie Henry Perdue, Jerry Wayne Perdue and Danny Lee Perdue, all of Moneta; one daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Timothy Krantz of Moneta; two brothers, Roy Perdue, Vinton; Oakie Perdue, Moneta; three sisters, Goldie Perdue of Moneta; Ola Bobbitt, Hardy; Frances Kirk of Blacksburg. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2:00 p.m. from the Updike Funeral Chapel, Bedford, with the Rev. Alfred Duncan officiating with burial in the Radford Church Cemetery. Updike Funeral Home, Bedford, is in charge of arrangements.
