\ CHESAPEAKE - Robert Lionel Shelor, age 71, formerly of Radford, died Sunday, May 6, 1990, in a Suffolk Nursing Home. He was a retired Superintendent of Environmental Health for the Chesapeake Health Department. He was a graduate of Virginia Tech and a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Portsmouth. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Rouse Shelor, Chesapeake; two nieces, Mrs. J. J. Owen, Blacksburg; Mrs. Cecil Massey, Westminster, Md. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Sunrise Burial Park. There will be no visitation. DeVilbiss Funeral Home, Radford, is in charge of arrangements.
