\ GALAX - Mary A. Henderson, age 85, passed away May 5, 1990. She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude N. Henderson. She is survived by a son, Skip Henderson, Galax; a daughter, Mrs. Alice Lou Kjeldsen; three grandchildren, Mac Higgins, Sandra Mohney, Debra McLafferty; four great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at Felts Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 8. The family will receive friends at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home in Galax from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday.
