\ CHRISTIANSBURG - Charles James Martin, age 80, died Saturday, May 5, 1990, at Community Hospital of Roanoke Valley. He was preceded in death by his wife, Minnie Martin. Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Jane Martin; one grandson, Joshua Martin, all of Pulaski; one sister, Minnie (Mint) Dowdy, Blacksburg. Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 8, at 11:00 a.m. at Hoy-McCoy Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Hoy-McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
