\ Mrs. Pearl Scott Jones, age 84, of Roanoke, died Sunday, May 6, 1990, in a Salem hospital. She was a member of Huntington Court United Methodist Church. She was the widow of Elton T. Jones, Sr. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Mildred and Sherlie Crawford, Troutville; one son and daughter-in-law, Elton T. (Shorty) Jr., and Joe Anne M. Jones, Roanoke; granddaughter and husband, Leigh Anne and Michael Vulgan, Roanoke; great-granddaughter, Ashleigh Vulgan; one sister, Willie Chockett, Roanoke. Funeral services will be from Oakey's North Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. George D. Gravitt and the Rev. Darryl G. Crim officiating. Interment will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at Oakey's North Chapel.
