OBIT MAYHEW, L.

Mrs. Leona Baird Mayhew, age 88, of Roanoke, died Monday, May 7, 1990. She is survived by her husband, James Edwin Mayhew; three brothers, James A. Baird, Portsmouth, Ohio; Paul W. Baird and William L. Baird, both of Roanoke; one sister, Mrs. Thelma B. Metts, Roanoke; a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, 1990, with the Rev. Walter M. Lockett officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Burial Park. Friends may call Oakey's North Chapel after 1:00 p.m. Tuesday.
