COUNTY EARNS VA. RECERTIFICATION

Franklin County became the seventh locality in the state Monday to earn recertification from the Virginia Department of Economic Development.

The designation means the county and Rocky Mount will continue to receive referrals from state economic development officials. Each of the 31 certified localities in the state must apply for recertification every three years.
