JUNE DEADLINE TO APPLY FOR TEACHER ARTS GRANT

The Virginia Commission for the Arts has set a June 1 deadline for Teacher Incentive Grant applications.

The grants provide financial help to teachers who wish to explore new ways of incorporating the arts into the curriculum. Funds may be used to provide special arts resources or programming, to hire artists or consultants, or to purchase supplies for projects. Any certified elementary or secondary school teacher is eligible to apply.
