Henry Marshall Davis, age 70, of Roanoke, died May 9, 1990 in a Salem hospital. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Surviving are his wife, Velva C. Davis, Roanoke; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Rayford M. Davis, Clinton J. and Dinia Davis, all of Roanoke; three sisters, Elsie Arnold, Alta Vista; Maude Cain, Danville; Lottie Daniel, Hurt, Va.; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; four stepsons and stepdaughters-in-law, Randel W. and Elaine Harris, Roanoke; Allen L. and Donna Harris, Vinton; Steve R. and Sally Harris; Maurice E. Harris, Roanoke; seven stepgrandchildren. Funeral services will be held at Copper Hill Church of the Brethren, 1:00 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Frank H. Wimmer officiating. Interment will follow in the Head of the River Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Check, Va. Friends may call at Oakey's South Chapel.
