Clarence Albert "Buzz" Palmer, age 70, died Wednesday, May 9, 1990. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ruby Craighead Palmer, Lafayette; three daughters, Miss Peggy Palmer and Miss Bonnie Palmer, both of Lafayette; Mrs. Margaret Herbert, San Antonio, Texas; six sisters, Mrs. Helen Craighead, Lafayette; Mrs. Elsie Hooker, Elliston; Mrs. Myrtle Sowers and Mrs. Edith Welch, both of Salem; Mrs. Grace Conner and Mrs. Hazel Tolley, both of Roanoke; three brothers, Sherman Palmer, Elliston; Clyde Palmer, Salem; Walter Palmer, Roanoke; four grandchildren. Funeral services will be Friday, May 11, at 11:00 a.m. at the Grant E. Bryant Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Greer officiating. Arrangements by Grant E. Bryant Funeral Home.
