OBIT DOSS, C.

Charles William "Bill" Doss, Jr., age 73, died Wednesday, May 9, 1990, at Friendship Manor in Roanoke. He was retired from Hercules Powder Company and was a member of the Oil, Chemical and Atomic Workers International Union and a veteran of World War II. He is survived by one brother, Gene Doss of Roanoke; three sisters, Virginia Hudgins, Vallejo, Calif.; Mae Bowman, Vinton; Jane Emerine, Christiansburg; six nieces and four nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 11, at 2:00 p.m. in the Hoy-McCoy Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends Thursday evening 7:00 to 9:00 at the funeral home.
