\ CHARLES INGALSBEE has been elected vice president of Virginia Hot Springs Inc., operators of The Homestead resort. Ingalsbee joined the Homestead as general manager in March 1989 and will continue to serve in that position. He came to the Homestead from the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, Colo.

STEPHEN LYON has been promoted to vice president at Signet Bank. He is in charge of construction and real estate lending in the Blue Ridge Region, headquartered in Roanoke. Lyon joined Signet as assistant vice president in the Real Estate Division in 1985. He was previously with Central Fidelity Bank as a construction loan officer and Wachovia Bank & Trust as a personal loan banker.
\ BRENDA ELLIOTT has joined the Roanoke Airport Marriott as regional sales manager. She will specialize in the solicitation of corporate and association conventions which originate in other states. Elliott comes to the Marriott from Best Western Associates of Williamsburg where she directed the group sales program for four hotels. She is director of membership for the Hotel Sales and Marketing Association/Chapter of the Virginias.
\ MARY BLANCHE HORSLEY has been promoted to assistant controller of Nationwide Homes Inc. She joined Nationwide in 1961 and most recently served as accounting manager.
\ Lewis Paige, a Roanoke native, has been promoted to district marketing manager for Delta Air Lines in Charlotte, N.C.
\ Donald Bennett has been named president and chief executive officer of Richfood Holdings Inc.
