UVA PART OF STUDY ON RESEARCH ON GIFTED

The U.S. Department of Education has selected the University of Virginia to be one of four major universities to research how to identify and teach exceptionally bright children.

Also chosen for the project were the University of Connecticut, Yale University and the University of Georgia. The program will enlist departments of education in 40 states to help in the research.
