CHURCH TO SELL PERENNIALS, HERBS

The third annual Perennial and Herb Sale will be held Saturday at Nelson Price Garden Park at Lee and Wharton Streets.

A large selection of rare perennial and herb plants will be offered for sale to benefit the park's development.

Sponsored by St. Francis Anglican Church in Blacksburg, the sale will be held 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Susan Garrison, Blacksburg's town horticulturist, will be there to advise patrons on plant selection and growing.

Lunch will be served by women of St. Francis Church 11 a.m.-1 p.m. for $3.50.
