\ William M. Pope, age 58, of 2018 Mountain Ave., Salem, died Thursday, May 10, 1990, in a Lynchburg Hospital. He was retired assistant chief engineer for Lewis-Gale Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Barbara C. Pope; three sons, Larry M. Pope, Fort Worth, Texas; Mark and Roy McNeil, Orange, Calif.; two daughters, Cynthia Stover of Mission Viejo, Calif.; and Teresa Breyman of Orange, Calif.; his father, Marvin O. Pope, Webster, Fla.; and mother, Mrs. Frances S. McNeil, Las Vegas, Nev.; one sister, Gayle Schwartz, Las Vegas, Nev.; and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at the graveside in the Pope Family Cemetery, Cawood, Ky., at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 12. Friends may call Oakey's North Chapel where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Friday.
