TEEN-AGER SHOT

A teen-aged boy was shot and wounded near Patrick Henry High School today, apparently by a motorist.

The youth, whose identity was not immediately available, sought help in the school office and was taken by rescue squad to a hospital. A crowd of 50 curious students milled about the school.

The youth was believed to have been shot in a leg by a motorist on Grandin Road shortly before 11 a.m.

He was conscious and shielded his face from TV cameras.

It could not be determined whether the shooting occurred on school property or nearby.
