MARTIN, SHERMAN\ ROCKY MOUNT - Sherman Martin, age 76, of Rt. 4, died Wednesday, May 9. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Margaret Martin, of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Mildred M. Law, Roanoke; Miss Elizabeth A. Martin, of the home; three sons, Charles S., Bobby N., and Donald R. Martin, all of Rocky Mount; two sisters, Mrs. Lilly Kasey; Mrs. Violet Jones, both of Roanoke; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; nieces; nephews; other relatives; and friends. Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, 2:00 p.m. at the Castleview Baptist Church with the Rev. B.S. Brown officiating. Friends may call at Stanfield Mortuary Chapel on Saturday, 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Interment in Franklin Memorial Park.
