STOVER SETS RECORD IN ROANOKE 4-MILE RUN

Nearly 500 runners took part Saturday in the third annual Shenandoah Life/Musselwhite & Associates four-mile run in Roanoke.

Dwayne Stover set a course record by completing the race in 19 minutes, 40 seconds to finish first overall. Katherine Phillips was first among women, finishing in 25:07.

Proceeds from the run will go to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
