Moses, who begins a four-year term on Council July 1, will fill the 45 days remaining on the unexpired term of Paul Rader, who resigned earlier this year.
Moses is the first woman elected to Town Council since Macy McClaugherty served 1944-48, Town Manager Ken Vittum said.
In other business, Council will:
Receive regular reports from the police, library, finance and recreation departments.
Receive a copy of a recycling study that Olver Inc. recently completed for Giles County.
Review plans for a highway project to improve Curve Road.
Discuss the parking of certain vehicles, such as large trucks, on narrow residential streets.
