Laughter is believed to have many effects on mental health. The seminar will discuss the benefits of laughter, the mind-body connection and practical ways to bring laughter into your life.
It will be presented May 24, 1-3:30 p.m., at the Blacksburg Holiday Inn.
Joyce Anisman-Saltman, a special education professor at Southern Connecticut State University and a therapist in private practice, will lead the seminar.
She also has performed nationally as a stand-up comic.
The cost for the seminar is $10 per person.
